This month's Board meeting will be held on November 14th, 7pm at the shelterhouse.
Welcome to the Lewisville Community Park!!
Lewisville Community Park is located in Lewisville, Indiana. Lewisville, Indiana was platted by Lewis C. Freeman and James B Harris on December 25, 1829. The Old National Road and the Indiana Central Railroad cross the Flat Rock River at Lewisville.
Lewisville Park has Flat Rock River as its western border and Old National Road Highway 40 as its southern border, adding convenience and beauty to the park. Our park has two well maintained playground areas for children. One of these is designed specifically for toddlers. We offer fun for the whole family with our outdoor skating rink, basketball court, ball diamonds, horse shoe pits and large grassy areas great for all sorts of activities. In addition, we have picnic areas with built in grills and a shelterhouse for rent, perfect for parties and family get-togethers.
Please stop in, bring a picnic lunch or something for the grill and enjoy your day at the Lewisville Community Park! We hope to see you there. Or, check our events schedule for our upcoming community events!
Lewisville Community Park is proud to announce that our park has been awarded the TASC youth grant! Our ball diamonds will now receive much needed repairs and updates. A big thank you to the TASC board for choosing our project and park as a grant recipient. We would like to give a special thank you to the Henry County Community Foundation and their wonderful staff! We are excited and thankful! We also received another grant thru the Henry County Community Foundation in their 2018 spring cycle. With those funds we are making the restrooms ADA compliant, re-painting, putting down new flooring.
